Caitlin Kilpatrick is a visual artist currently residing in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Kilpatrick is studying at Converse University and will graduate with a BFA in Studio Art in May of 2025. Her art is heavily influenced by bh her early childhood and more recent experiences that have shaped who she is as a person. Kilpatrick’s current body of work explores the interpersonal relationships in her early childhood and her young adult life and uses conceptual imagery to tie parallels between the two. Kilpatrick’s work relies on the collective memories of her family and friends and the pictures she has collected that serve as a visual. This body of work won Kilpatrick the 2022 Judy & Brant Bynum Award in the Spring of 2022 and landed her a solo show at the Artists’ Guild Gallery in Spartanburg, SC in May of 2024. Aer undergrad, Kilpatrick plans to rther her education with an MFA in printmaking. She is a member of the Artists’ Guild of Spartanburg, the Converse University Art Society, and the Mid American Print Council (MAPC).
